Indigenous Forest Trees and Plants
Carbory sources tree seeds and seedlings from places local to the Carbory Forest Carbon Community. We operate indigenous seedling nurseries, design planting and restoration plans, and execute all afforestation and restoration work with elders, youth, and expert forestry partners in Uganda.
Local Equity in all Portfolio Forest and Carbon Benefits
Carbory investors and clients make significant impacts in direct partnership with local stakeholders. Forest land, access, and dividend rights are written into our investment contracts and are transferrable between generations of local and international stakeholders.
